"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. The bed was a bit like sleeping on a blanket covered rock and only 2 pillows. Breakfast the first morning... my husband is a diabetic and is not able to eat any of the cakes and...

"Very nice hotel for the price. Some nice restaurants nearby. Only issue we had was the number of stray cats around the hotel, who can be too friendly and don't give you any piece when lounging around the pools. It's not pleasant to be sunbathing when a cat jumps on you and sticks their claws into you!!"

"Nice hotel, on the sea front. There is a nice swimming pool with salt water. The room we stayed was a grand suite on the top floor. The view from the room balcony is perfect deep blue and relaxing. The room is spacious but bit outdated. The bathroom is nice with a big bathtub. Overall a positive experience."

"The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel."

"The rooms are somewhat basic, but there is nothing missing. If anything, that adds to the summer feeling of spending all day at the beach - which is so close - and returning to an uncomplicated room in the evening. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. Some things do need a bit of maintenance (example, the toilet flush was leaking, so we had to turn it shut each time etc) but nothing really significant. I would gladly go back or recommend it to friends who are looking for an easy-going...
