"This hotel is in a good location. It is NOT a 4-star property. Beds are at best 15 years old, thin mattresses, inconsistent hot water, 10 year old towels (which they do not replace everyday), thin walls (get ready to hear EVERYTHING), and very basic facilities. This would be a nice 2.5 star property."

"This property is a hidden gem!! The facilities are spectacular, and the owners and staff are wonderful! The beach area is so peaceful and shallow, it’s like a salt water pool. The temperature was great for swimming in early June, and the paddle board and kayak were an added bonus. If you go, definitely include breakfast - it’s amazing and delivered right to your room!!"

"The Villas at LOFOS SOILIS are very nice. The apartments themselves are very clean and in a great location set in the middle of an Olive Grove. The villas all have their own private covered veranda. The terrace which is fringed by a number of tables where breakfast is served, and also evening meals, has a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding hills and sea across to Kefalonia. "Our family of four adult stayed at this lovely villa for three days and it was perfect for us. The location cannot be highlighted enough. Beautiful views, walking distance to restaurants, beach, and a small market. Dionysios was the perfect host, ensuring everything in the apartment was to our satisfaction. The only issue we had was with the bathrooms, it was super old and there was no fan or window to open so it would get wet from taking shower and no way to get rid of that mess. "The hillside setting of this great villa makes for fabulous sea views overlooking nearby beaches/resorts. A very spacious outdoor areas with pool table, table tennis, cooking/BBQ kit and pool. Ideally it would have been on the same level as the living area which is up the stairs. Couple of things that would make the villa spot on would be air con or (at least fans) in the living space and a better water temp in the pool. You definitely need a car when staying her. "This is the most amazing place we have ever stayed! Quietly tucked away in a peaceful area but within easy reach of everything (with a car) which was perfect for us. The host gave us an extensive list of things to do/see, places to eat and the local area. This was so helpful and thoughtful, all of the recommendations were perfect, especially To Pirounaki restaurant which we went twice as was so good. "there was no real engagement with the property manager, which is why I have given this section a low rating. Communication with the owner and his wife however were excellent. The villa is very comfortable in a quiet location that really suited us. The owner and his wife, who were living next door, were lovely and nothing was any trouble for them. The approach to the villa up a steep bendy track could be a little daunting at night."
