"I booked two rooms and one of the rooms had non-working A/C and a back door to a common veranda that wasn't possible to lock. The management promised to refund the room but no refund was made. Hotels.com told me the property refused to refund. They had washer and dryers that automatically shut off at night making it impossible to open up the washer door to retrieve your clothes - the door was locked as the program wasn't finished. When I tried to call them for support, I got no answers. Location...

The owners are wonderful and make it such a great experience - they offer so many services (like beautiful breakfasts, dinners, yoga classes, wine tours, anything you could want!) and the property itself is so charming and relaxing. The property was quite basic for my taste and in a more rural area than I would have liked especially as I was driving on narrow country roads at night to return to the property. "We were two couples traveling together and we had this place to ourselves, it was like our private estate, loaded with beautiful antiques it is an old winery estate house, its in a fairly remote small town on a hill surrounded by grapes.Great views from the rooftop patio,, its not much to look at from outside the gate but inside, wow. we loved it, thanks very much for your kind hospitality Daniela."

"This large country home easily fit our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler. Giordana was immediately responsive to inquiries before, during and after our stay. The pool was really a sitting pool to cool off in, you could not actually swim, which we knew. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms were large, bathrooms sufficient. Our host even helped arrange a private Cooking lesson for our family which was fantastic. I highly recommend this home near Asti and Alba."
