When we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful and we arranged to have food in the restaurant, which was first class, and the breakfast in the morning was just as nice,, so highly recommended this place…. "This was our third time staying at The Green Dragon on our way up to Scotland. It’s five minutes from the A1 in a characterful market town. Landlord and staff very friendly and helpful. Room had everything we needed. Bed very comfy and good quality linens. Spacious, well laid out ensuite. We ate in the bar. Good range of beers, lovely home- cooked food which was good value. Breakfast was excellent too. We will be staying again!"

"Superb accomodation, very clean and well organised, the location was perfect, near to Harrogate, Skipton, Ripon and also not far away from York. It was very quiet and the total opposite of the city life we both endure. Highly recommend the accomodation, it had everything you need, a bedroom for 2 people, lovely bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen, the views were stunning too.
