The Lake View Palace is opposite the Chunda Palace Hotel which is a 4*/5* hotel and every night I was staying at the Lake View there was a loud music event at the Chunda Palace which was very noisy. "Staff is friendly but the property lacks in some basic amenities - such as hot water. Through out our stay, we didn't get warm water in our showers, even after repeated reminders. There was stinking smell in couple of rooms. Staff had to be repeatedly reminded to provide towels, soap etc. Honestly, we were over-charged for the service we were provided."

"The property itself is beautiful with amazing artwork inside. Rooms are huge and the bathroom shower was excellent! The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Kishore at the reception. We were however disappointed that they did not have a liquor license which is so strange in a tourist hotel! We therefore did not have any meals in the hotel. The TV also did not have any English programs apart from the news. This is not really good enough!"
