"Beautiful property in amazing gardens. I loved the pool too. Only 1 restaurant but excellent buffet. The gym a/c wasn’t working when I arrived. I was amazed to find it in such a bad state. But after complaining direct to the GM it was fixed when I returned the next day. "

"The hotel has a lakeview but only from the roof top restaurant. If you want to be closer to the centre of Udaipur and the beautiful city palace then choose a different hotel. The Lake View Palace is opposite the Chunda Palace Hotel which is a 4*/5* hotel and every night I was staying at the Lake View there was a loud music event at the Chunda Palace which was very noisy. "Staff is friendly but the property lacks in some basic amenities - such as hot water. Through out our stay, we didn't get warm water in our showers, even after repeated reminders. There was stinking smell in couple of rooms. Staff had to be repeatedly reminded to provide towels, soap etc. Honestly, we were over-charged for the service we were provided."
