"A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. We stayed for 10 nights so we had time to enjoy and relax. We thank Filipo and Feredica, who have been so hospitable during our stay. Lots of options for breakfast with the best cappuccino ever. "Struttura ben curata, pulita e comoda per la sua posizione. Genny estremamente gentile, fa veramente bene il suo lavoro. Ci ha fornito una serie di indicazioni su cosa vedere e dove mangiare. Lungomare a 10 min a piedi. Sicuramente ci torneremo. Consigliato!"

"Schöne Lage im alten Ortskern. Das Zimmer ist groß, sauber und recht schön. Alles in Ordnung somit. Wenn man am Wochenende übernachtet, sollte man sich darauf einstellen, dass es auf der Piazza unterhalb des Zimmers sehr laut werden kann und das bis weit in die Nacht. Deswegen auch nur 4 Sterne. Wir hatten an einem Sonntag eine Band die bis 23:45h gespielt hat und anschließend waren noch Gäste und Einwohner da die bis mindestens 01:00h sehr laut waren. "I enjoyed my stay at Cavour 33 very much. The room was large and comfortable with air conditioning and you are in the heart of Massa for walking to shops and restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, personally prepared by the owner and more than enough to start the day. Parking is not available on the street in front of the hotel, but I was able to find some close by. Highly recommended!"

"Property itself was ultra clean and the staff were amazing. The building is a little dated but perfectly functional. Unfortunately, the drawback of the area is that the beaches are mostly fully reserved for the entire season by Italians from the city and so it is almost impossible to get a place in any of the beaches even or of peak season"

What a gem!

"What an amazing find! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel this clean—the attention to detail was incredible. The staff were so welcoming and kind, making us feel at home right from the start. Our room had a stunning sea view, which made every morning feel like a dream. The breakfast was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was top-quality, and the lovely lady running it made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone we met, including the cleaning crew, was so kind and thoughtful. And as a dog lover, I have to mention their adorable little dog, Lucky. He’s the sweetest, and it was such a treat to have him around for cuddles. Hotel Florida is just a fantastic place, and I couldn’t recommend it more. I already can’t wait to go back!"

"My favorite boutique hotel ever! It is so quaint and quiet and right in front of the sea. I love how small it is with just a few rooms. The staff treat you like family and are always very helpful. And the complimentary breakfast with the view is wonderful! And there are so many things to see and do within walking distance."

God’s grace

"We had the unfortunate experience of having all our luggage stolen, our money stolen and our rental car broken into. Directly following that experience we arrived at your hotel 2:30 am in the morning . The staff went above and beyond to provide a lovely meal for us, drinks , essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste and even facial Products. The next day they did their best to close up the broken window of our car all by their own volition. The hotel, food and service plus incredible view couldn’t be better. Thank you so much for restoring our trust in Italy and thereby allowing us the opportunity to stay and enjoy the country. "
