"We liked our stay in this hotel. We only stayed 2 nights but the breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again. "

"Overall, I LOVED the property, the friendliness of the staff, amenities (gym, dining options, fire pits, etc.) With that being said, I did noticed the shower door in our room was not cleaned properly and neither was the countertop in the bathroom. I also noticed water leaking around the base of the sink faucets. I only bring this up because at the prices you pay to stay at the Salamander, I expect everything to be exceptional. ALL in ALL those were minor, seeing that my germophobic ways will not allow me to travel without taking or purchasing cleaning products locally. So I was able to clean the shower door and counter myself, which I would have done even if I didn't notice they had not been cleaned properly. I would definitely go back."

"We appreciated the shuttle to and from Dulles every 30 minutes with friendly drivers. At the hotel entrance is comfortable outdoor furniture to sit and relax around a gas fire pit. There is a decent, not fancy, breakfast buffet for $10 for 2 people. We would return here if we were in the area again. "
