"Don't plan on skiing early, as the front desk manager refuses to check you out before 8 am. Also, parking is limited and the property is totally overpriced for its condition. The front desk manager on March 2, 2025 literally yelled at guests who wanted to check out at 7:35 am, despite assurances from the previous day's shift. Never seen any Hotel staff in the world being that unprofessional and angry!!"

"We had a fabulous week at the Apartments Brietach. The apartments have everything you need, and are very good value for money. It is situated in a valley with wonderful mountain views. The owners, Astrid and Stefan, are delightful, as are their staff. Their beautiful Biernese Mountain dogs makes it a home from home for any dog lover, and dogs are welcome guests. "The hotel was lovely. Breakfast was great too. It was right near the old city center and very convenient for everything. We appreciated the free washing machine and the fact that we could get parking there even though we had not applied for it."

"It’s an older hotel, a bit dated, but overall good. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of options. It’s very walkable to old town, shopping and restaurants. They give you a bus pass for local transit and to/from the castles. The boat stop is just a block away. I’d definitely stay here again."

"Three of my friends and I had an amazing time during our stay. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and plentiful, sauna was perfect after a long day of skiing. The bar was great and Stavros our bar tender made the best drinks for us while we enjoyed the piano player every evening before dinner. The entire staff was attentive and remembered our preferences with food and drinks. Beds were comfy in the two bedroom suite we shared. Definitely a great stay for a week of skiing. "
