"The property is lovely, and the food was amazing. We had breakfast on our reservation but they suggested that we added half board and dinner would be included as well, for 36 euros extra, per person, for a buffet. It was well worthy. Although the room was a bit far from the reception, we walk underground through a tunnel under the hotel, so it was not hard. Perhaps if you have heavy luggage it could be, due to some steps along the way, but the hotel was really nice and the 2 rooms spacious."

"A good property which is conveniently located between town centre and ski slope access. Rooms are spacious though bathrooms could do with more space and stronger air ventilators, breakfast is fine. "We stayed early in the season (Dec), so the hotel was not operating with every possible amenity. Still, for a family holiday, it just barely sufficed, given the price. Pros: spacious room, nice balcony, good location to Rosshutte ski bus. Well heated. Cons: limited access to kettle, microwave, fridge. Games area for kids wete only at a charge of €2 for any item. TV service limited. Some parts of the hotel were well-used. A bit of a walk to town centre, although still relatively central....

"Absolutely fantastic stay over Christmas! Room was plenty big enough and the entire property was meticulously maintained. Everything was clean, neat, and proper. Breakfasts were efficient and hearty. Dinners were excellent! Didn’t realize that they were Michelin rated and Christmas Eve Dinner was magnificent! "This is one of my favorite places for relaxing and walking. Our train was late from France and they made sure we had dinner. Staff is so helpful, food is delicious, facilities our so nice. A wonderful place."

"Loved the property as it was almost fairytale like. The staff was lovely and did everything possible to help us navigate the area. It is not easily reached by train and Uber is non-existent, but the property and its location is 5 star. Breakfast was included and it more than exceeded my expectation. "We stayed here for one night. It was fine for a one day stay. The furnishing and carpeting are somewhat worn but it was clean. We were not there long enough to use any appliances other than the refrigerator, which worked fine. The location itself is so-so. it is very close to the rodelbahn and some nice hikes but the views from the property itself are rather limited. The neighbors have big old rusted boiler (or something like that) in the front yard so not super attractive immediate surrounding. There were two issues we ran into. One was communication with the owner - I don't think this was the owner's fault as they tried to respond but this was not working through VRBOs APP very well. This may have been a VRBO issue. I did find the owners communications in my direct email eventually - but going through the VRBO APP did not work well for this property. The second surprise was the requirement to pay in cash - we scraped together every penny we had (and had to borrow from our kids) but did manage to just cover the entire cost. I would say if you just need a place to stay for a night (and you bring cash) - this is fine. For a longer stay it would not seem so attractive."
