"This is an exceptional small hotel, just across the river from the old town. Great value! You can easily access the train station or anywhere else in Salzburg. The staff is tremendous!! Tons of places to eat or shop at within very short walking distances."

"Great hotel in central Salzburg, 10 minutes walk from station, less into town. Helpful bi lingual staff, big clean rooms, amazing breakfast on top floor with views of city. Perfect for our family of 4. Cellar restaurant is really good. Easy check in/out. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Definitely come again. "

"The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. the hotel is very well located. a short walk to everywhere. We chose a room that fit comfortably our family of four, with a nice little wall for privacy. 2 big beds and a single one. I would definitely stay again. Theres coffee shop opposite the hotel and laundromat 3 min away. the mirabel garden is a 2 minute walk away if that much"

"a little further out of the city than I thought .. bus stop outside .. or uber is only 7 euros .. very good buffet breakfast .. my room was of a high standard .. Couldn’t fault the hotel "

"Good location with reasonable walk to old town and easy public transport, approx 10min to the train station and airport bus stops. Hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, hot water, good breakfast choices. I would not bother with a balcony unless travelling in the summer, the view is limited. Took our own kettle but drinks are available in reception. "

"Arabella hotel is a unique hotel that impressed our family. Warm welcome from the reception as if you were greeted by your friends that respect you and want to look after you. We were offered as treat warm nuts in a paper bag that added on our Christmas mood upon arrival on Christmas Eve. The classic decoration and the old Austrian style was impressive but at the same time you could easily identify how well maintained this hotel is up to detail. "This was the perfect place to stay during Christmas. They have a historic movie theater attached which we attended, also an excellent Italian restaurant where we ate 3 times, room was updated and with a beautiful bathroom. Easy taxi ride of about 13 euro, to the hotel and back. Very good breakfast, and being in old town adds to the experience. Very friendly staff as well."
