"Very quiet comfortable hotel"

"I can’t complain too much about the room, it was ok. Nothing special just what would be expected for the price. I had to pay for parking, I hadn’t seen this mentioned on the app when I booked it and the receptionist said it was because I had booked via hotels. Nothing against paying but there are plenty of other hotels local that don’t charge. I was told to book a table for food via the qr code. I tried several times but it wouldn’t work. At one point it said no availability until 9.30pm so I...

"Lovely hotel stayed for a night as a family made use ofnpool which was fab- clean and in good condition Restaurant was good food was lovely hot and quick service kids were catered for very well. Lobby/reception area was very nice well kept and smelt amazing staff very friendly Rooms were comfortable and clean we were by the road no noice of traffic only critisism was room was a slightly dated. "

"Had a wonderful stay at the Chester. All the staff we encountered were lovely and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely feel to it. Did think that the bathroom was big enough to have a a bath and shower - we only had a shower but that would be the only negative. I hadn't asked for a bath so no complaint."

"Lovely old building with nicely appointed accommodation. Lovely touches in the rooms, including local snacks and robes. Pool in the Spa was a little on the chilly side but otherwise a great stay!"
