"I would have given a higher rating but we had to leave the breakfast table after waiting nearly half a hour for out hot food and on check out there was no real apology for this. The place is very lovely but staff were not overly friendly. Would probably from a senior person in charge. "

"We spent a wonderful week at the chateau. Even the rain on our first day couldn’t dampen our excitement and enjoyment of the property. The sun came out allowing us to make full use of everything the chateau has to offer. The pool and the grounds are beautiful. The dreamy interior fulfilled all of our expectations. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
