"The Leela Ashtamudi is a truly beautiful hotel with a prime position overlooking the backwaters. The staff were excellent. The complementary high tea and house boat cruise really made our stay in Kollam. Our room was of a very high standard but tired in areas, as were some parts of the hotel. Overall excellent but management could really do with investing in maintenance/upgrade to make this a truly world class destination."
