"Great staff and site, but disappointed that we had to walk to reception to get a card authorised to purchase drinks at the bar in the evening...unnecessarily made things a bit of a faff. Staff were pleasant and welcoming though. Also please note that the parking charges have increased to £15 per night, not the £12.50 advertised. Staff did go out of their way to assist with our birthday celebrations, which were very welcome. Thank you."

"This is our go-to hotel for Cheltenham/Gloucester. Easy to get to, friendly staff, a pool and gym. The food on site is delicious. There are lots of options available, bar, restaurant, room service. Nice seating areas outside and lots of places to sit inside if you want to read or play board games. We use it as a home from home when we are visiting family in the area. Highly recommended."

"This was a lovely hotel, with helpful and welcoming staff. We arrived a little late as the satnav ran out of charge, and the hotel was not well signposted, even though we stopped twice for directions. It was about 2040 when we arrived and restaurant service stopped at 2100, but reception rang through to say we were on our way and we enjoyed an excellent meal, most welcome after another 4 hour drive south down the M6 and M5 in heavy traffic. Room was reasonably spacious and adequate, lighting, TV, coffee etc, but best of all was the pool... best sized one I have seen in hotels, lovely steam room, sauna, and a jacuzzi over a bridge, giving extra round swim route. Staff in the spa very helpful. This hotel is not too far away from our home, less than 2 hours, and we will certainly go back there, using it as a base to explore the Cotswolds and the lovely towns nearby. The contrast to the one we stayed in going north, for about the same price, was really marked. "
