"We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The bathroom was a bit smelly at the start but with ventilation that improved (there were no shelves in the shower area so that was not practical). We had plenty of towels and it was great...

Village vacances entièrement piéton se qui est sécurisant avec charette pour transporter les affaires. Petit kit d'hygiène à l'arrivée également. Accès quasi direct à la plage. "In a quiet area within easy walking of city centre, beaches, local shops. Could have been better if there was a bit more information about getting around eg buses, ferries, bikes etc. Staff always polite. "

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
