"Amazing attention to detail for a specail retreat. Enjoyed the fire, views, quiet and spa. Nice to have an electric lazyboy and smart tv. Cooking facilities are good. Bathrrom os lovely. Blinds could be improved, getting a little tired but servicable enough. A fabulous relaxing stay, i have recommeded to friends, and I'm keen to return myself!"

"My husband and I stayed at this home for 3 nights in February 2023. Everything about the stay was perfect. The home is positioned on a corner next to a quiet boat launch which made for easy access to the beach (which was beautiful - we swam every day!). The features of the home created an outdoor living space with their big windows and retractable sunshades. The kitchen was big enough to host many guests with the many seating options and large prep spaces. We will definitely stay here again when...

"A great house for us, 3 adults & 111 year old. Convenient for showing family the beaches & getting on a Cape Reinga trip! Shops & restaurants within 2 km. Just beautiful looking out the ranch sliders & kitchen window.Only downers were no curtain on a small highup window in double room - we covered it cos we didnt want to wake up with the sun : ). Also would have appreciated a hose connection for washing sandy swimwear outside & a connection inside to use the washing machine. Wouldve contacted...

"Our whanau of 16 ranging from 12 to 80 years, were lucky enough to stay at this amazing property over the Christmas period. The combination of stunning location and excellent facilities meant we all had such a wonderful time. The hosts have thought of every last detail to ensure their guests enjoyment. "We had 3 generations under one roof, amazing house with outstanding well cared for garden's and then the amazing views. Beds were incredible, the best beds we have slept on at book a bach. Washing machine and dryer were excellent. David was great, and met us onsite when we arrived, and provided great communication through out the start to finish process. Overall the best stay we have had at a book a bach. We will definitely be back. ❤️ "
