"I didn't like the fact that reception told us we had an hour to get to Dinner because they close at 2200, but when we arrived, it was 2130, and so what was supposed to be a nice dinner turned into a nightmare."

"This beautiful new resort made for a lovely vacation. The location is very nice, in the middle of a golf course, the staff is excellent, great breakfast, very tasteful decor. Our room was super comfortable, especially the nice big, firm bed. If you require an American King, this bed will not disappoint! The layout of the resort is unique, with the majority of the rooms/suites in a series of smaller buildings with no elevators, so I will say that if you have any issues with stairs or managing...

"Check in took forever ,If you go, take a print out they could not do it with the app ,2 days it took grrr.If you want a drink at the bar be prepared to be thirsty I have never seen such slow service between 10 to 15 min wait wether there are 2 people in front or 10.Food was ok entertainment rubbish,Wine on all inclusive terrible put it on your frozen chips.The pool is wonderful"

"The perdon who checked me in was not particularly helpful, however the person who chrcked me out was rude! I asked for a taxi to the bus station, she hesitated, then called one taxi who said he was busy, she did not adk for how long. She hung up and then tried to convince me the bus did not go where I wanted to go. I knew better, butshe thought I was wrong and eventually just walked away from me. "A great all inclusive hotel with plenty of activities. This resort is especially great for golfers as you have 2 great courses at your doorstep. There is only the buffet option for food, however the food was great and they even had a street food dinner on Wednesday which was a very pleasant surprise."

"Verdelago is a great 5-star resort in the Algarve, away from tourists and tourist traps. It is a vast resort with many things to do. However, potential guests should be aware it is not fully-open. The resort is under construction even though you would not really notice it. They have done a fabulous and mindful job in protected guests from this. "Wir trafen eine sehr schöne und von der gesamten Bausubstanz komfortable, ruhig gelegene und sehr saubere Wohnung an, die mit allem ausgestattet war, was man für den Urlaub benötigt. Alles hat perfekt funktioniert. Die Gastgeber Erich und Saini waren äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ihre ausführlichen Besichtigungstipps sowie Restaurantempfehlungen konnten wir gut gebrauchen. "We stayed as a party of 9 (4 adults, 4 teens and a 10 year old). I think it’s useful for other potential guests to know the following, based on our experience: 1. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs are only suitable for small children or anyone under 3ft! They are basically loft rooms, no windows, I lost track of the number of times we banged our heads on the roof and trying to make the beds when you can’t stand up is difficult. 2. Beautiful Villa

"We came on holiday September 2024 as a family of 9 guests. When booking the Villa we thought the pictures and write up looked great for our needs. But the Villa was even more impressive than the photos could portray. Very clean and well maintained. Bedrooms well spaced out across the Villa and lots of social areas, so we never felt cramped. The games room was a bonus and even with 9 of us in there did not feel cramped. The outside area was beautiful with flowers, grass areas. The swimming pool was a fantastic size, lots of loungers and a massive outside table for family meals. Marina was very easy to communicate with via messages and in person when we arrived at the Villa. You will need a car to visit local amenities with the closest being a 10min drive away. Highly recommend this villa you won’t be disappointed :) "

Great villa with lovely pool

"Lovely villa for a family getaway. Beautiful beach 10 minutes away, do need a rental car. Good supermarket in Castro Marim. We had the master bedroom the bathroom was a bit grimy round the wall edges but on whole a lovely holiday"

"Only stayed at the property for one night and for the first time. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Hotel was maintained very well and clean. The hotel style is older, 1970’s charm. The views from the room were over the town of Ayamonte, and Vila Real de Santo António across the river in Portugal. Great views of the Bridge as well. The bar area is comfortable and has both an inside and outside seating area. Parking is easy and right outside the main door. 10min walk downhill to the town center. I will stay there again."
