"Amazing property. Right in the city, but still feels like you are living in a peaceful outskirts of Bali. One of the best restaurants Ketela right outside your room. King Prawns there are a must have. The only disappointing thing wasy Spa and Massage experience. It was just okay. Other than that, everything aced. "

"This was by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! The entire staff from the moment we arrived treated us like family. They accommodated every request we made with such politeness. I really felt like royalty. The property is immaculate and groomed every day. Our villa was so private and clean. I could easily live there! I almost want to keep this place a secret but you have to experience this beautiful place!"

"The hotel facilities are quite outdated and could use some refurbishment. The swimming pool had an overpowering smell of chlorine, which made it less enjoyable to use. On the positive side, the overall pricing is reasonable and fits within a budget-friendly range. However, the air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly, and it was uncomfortably hot at night. This definitely impacted the quality of sleep. Improvements in these areas would significantly enhance the guest experience."

"Three very generous bedrooms and a large dining/sitting area that could be opened up to the pool. Each villa in the complex was self-contained and felt very private. Breakfasts were amazing! Good location with the beach and multiple eating options only 5 minutes walk away. "

"Amazing hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful gardens The breakfasts were delicious and well worth it and they will serve it to your room every morning. The staffs are working hard to keep this hotel running. Always cleaning, helping, serving and working. Hats off to them. "The staff was amazing, very kind and always around to help with huge smiles . The food in the restaurant was pretty disappointing though, I ended up ordering out or just not eating almost every night I was there. The welcome book mentioned a fully stocked mini bar but there was no such thing anywhere in my villa. The remote for my air conditioning broke twice. I loved my private pool and villa but this is definitely a budget accommodation . If you have the cash stay somewhere near central Ubud."

"The Layar was amazing. The property is beautiful and well appointed. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The only downside is that it’s a bit out of the way with nothing around the villas. If you don’t mind a short walk or taxi ride, it’s perfect. "

"The location of the hotel was far from the city center. It takes between 30 min to an hour, depending on traffic, to get to where the tourists spots are. The hotel itself is a nice place to stay for a quiet and relaxing holiday. The restaurant, which serves good food, is across the road. Closes at 10pm. The pool, the sauna, ice bath are the reasons we stayed here, and it did not disappoint. The only thing that bothered us, being 2 friends sharing the room, is that the bathroom has no privacy...

"The perfect place to stay in Bali! We have previously stayed at many other resorts in bali and this was our first time at this beautiful resort. The breakfast buffet is one of the best with a huge selection of food. The rooms are so clean, the pools are lovely with full bar service at a press of a button or you can the swim up to the poolside bar. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Location is perfect, they also have a buggy to take you in town or to the beach. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again."
