"This place is like an ancient palace. Everything is so beautifully presented and staff are so beautiful and helpful. I loved my room sooooo much. Very spacious, comfortable, clean and very posh. Breakfast room is well decorated and I had my GF bread and sweets separately. The staff really looked after me. Highly recommend "

"Just superb. The rooms were comfortable , the breakfast more than excellent and the best part was the vaporetto into Venice stops in front of the hotel. The lounge area in the front of the hotel is super comfy. Murano has a lot of shopping, and once the tourists are gone it is very quiet with still lots to do. "

"Definitely would choose this location again. The hotel is in a perfect place if you drive to Venice and need to leave the car in those lots the hotel is 3-5 minutes walk. Also you can easily get to San Marco by foot. The hotel staff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs. The rooms are packed with amenities. "

"This was my first trip to Venice and the Hotel Cavalletto e Doge Orseolo was a great location for us to explore Venice from. Like most structures in Venice this obviously is an older building, but it is very well maintained and updated. They also had a very good full breakfast buffet included with the room. My only complaint was there was no hot water on our first morning, but they fixed that as soon as we notified them."

Google maps put us in the back of the hotel but someone who worked at the hotel knew we were confused and pointed us in the right direction. I would definitely use this hotel again. "Great location in Venice, very close to all the main sites and transport. Staff were super helpful, polite and made me feel welcome, thank you. The room was quite small but everything worked fine and suited a weekend stay. Be aware that the hotel is close to the main tourist areas so can be noisy in the evening. Breakfast was a good selection and there is a great view of Ponte di Realto from the balcony."
