"Lovely villa , comfortable , spacious , clean , everything we needed in the kitchen . Pool was great . Hot tub was extra . Arrived late first night , neighbour reported us for being noisy -two kids in the pool . Hands up , yes they were excited , had been travelling all day and yes there is a ‘quiet neighbour ‘ scheme between 10m and 9am . But no one mentioned the local dogs that bark constantly 24/7 , I’m not talking one or two , I have never heard so many dogs barking in one area . Honestly...

"The above picture is a complete falsehood. There is an apartment building looming over the pool area. There certainly were not that many umbrellas. We fought very hard to get them to understand the air conditioning was not working on the main floor. Out of the four nights there, we only had AC for one night."

"Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "Overall this villa was brilliant even if there were quite a few stairs due to quirky layout. Had a food delivery first day which is good idea although rest of time we shopped at a Lidl which was much cheaper and only 3km away. Local beach was excellent as was the cafe/restaurant there at Praia da Molhe and only a short walk. Be careful if using oven in kitchen at same time as hob for example as will trip the fuse box but easy to reset. Rental company were very efficient. We had ages ranging from...
