Additionally, the sole restaurant serving dinner was fully booked and we were told we could dine in the bar, which only serves unrefined snack food, which was not desirable nor acceptable. "

"This is a delicious and well-run property with a long history. Everything was perfect..almost. Our suite was very comfortable, but it was VERY dark inside. It was long and the only natural light is from the door (glass). That was our main criticism. The only other little quibble is there was absolutely nowhere to hang our sumptuous robes, and so the cleaning crew (and it WAS a crew) took to hanging them on the shower door or folded (wet) by the tub."
