"Check in was good. Front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel itself could use an update. I can directly compare this hotel to Amherst College's rival premiere hotel, The Williams Inn. The "old" Williams Inn was left behind and brand new hotel was built from the ground up with all the modern updates and comforts that you'd desire. This hotel, Inn on Boltwood, felt pretty outdated. The walls / ceiling in our suite had peeling paint and ants all over the floor. The elevator is a tiny throwback...

"It is a historic authentic train station turned into 5-6 rooms. Antique furniture, quiet, safe neighborhood. No staff on site, no service but clean and spacious. I like the breakfast items and coffee that are available basically 24-7. Stairway is steep to second floor. Rooms have no fridge or microwave but can use the fridge and microwave on first floor.... I will go there again!! "
