Perfectly good reasonably priced hotel
Perfectly good reasonably priced hotel for a short stay. Convenient to Smith and Northampton. Not too fancy, but clean and modern with pleasant staff. Can be a bit noisy.

I always enjoy staying here. The staff is great and welcoming. Not that it’s most important to me but the breakfast is not really a breakfast. There use to be a lot better

Needs a major upgrade
Visiting Amherst College for one night. Inexpensive but pretty shabby. Furniture in the room was scratched and very dated. Wallpaper in bath was peeling and shower rod was crudely attached to wall. TV was the highlight with good channels. Breakfast minimal at best. Nothing hot.

The price is great but the carpet and some furniture could use an update. The pool is great. Beds could use a 3 in bed topper but all in all I will be back. It’s perfect for the price and convenient to Amherst.

This hotel just came across as "tired". At first I was going to say it was adequate but then my grandson went swimming and came back almost immediately and said the pool was dirty, and he LOVES to swim. It says something that he wouldn't stay in the pool. Now my designation is "barely adequate". The room and the linens were clean, the staff was friendly but the "breakfast" was a joke. We ended up at Friendley's. Needless to say we will never stay here again.
