"What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo! "The property was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our stay! The pool and the available excursions made it very enjoyable. Our only criticism is that we we’re originally told the restaurant would be open the first night we were there and it wasn’t. Instead we got a “pizza party” this was fine except the cost was not presented to us prior. The pool was also closed early due to a wedding. "We have just had a wonderful week here as a family of 5. It was initially very hard to locate, there are no signs and the sat nav brought us to the gates of an industrial looking building. However, when we discovered you could drive along to the next road entrance on the left and follow this around further to the left.. it leads to the stunning property. It could be better signposted. Apart from that and perhaps the fact the kitchen could be slightly better equipped, we wouldn't hesitate to...

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."
