"We have just had a wonderful week here as a family of 5. It was initially very hard to locate, there are no signs and the sat nav brought us to the gates of an industrial looking building. However, when we discovered you could drive along to the next road entrance on the left and follow this around further to the left.. it leads to the stunning property. It could be better signposted. "This property was lovely with fantastic views, wonderful staff and dining. Rooms were clean, spacious and quaint. Only difficulty during rainy season was unpaved road quite rough to navigate. Otherwise - will absolutely return to this beautiful property."

"Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere."

"This was our favorite stay in our Italy trip. The host, Christine, is super friendly and kind and made sure we got all we need. The breakfast is very good. The place itself is renovated and nice, but still has the charm of an ancient stone house. Amazing. "

He provided a brief history of the area and the farm and gave instructions regarding the property. He also provided recommendations on restaurants and suggestions of where to park in Florence. "This location is amazing. Peaceful and in the middle of beautiful views. Also the room was extremely well equipped. Basically all you need for cooking was there. The pool area was nice, with cosy chairs. The host is very friendly and helpfull. "

"Das Haus liegt in einer Schlucht am Ende des Dorfes. Wer die Abgeschiedenheit liebt, ist in dieser Lage gut aufgehoben. Allerdings müssen an der Ausstattung des Hauses dringend Erneuerungen vorgenommen werden. Sehr alte Möbel und die Räume sind ausgesprochen finster. Besonders die Küche und das Bad Bedarf einer Überholung. In der Küche findet man nur alte, minderwertige Dinge. Weder Wasserkocher noch Toaster ist vorhanden. Aufgrund der Lage am Bach und Waldrand ist man den Insekten ausgesetzt."
