"This is an adequate place to stay if you go in with the expectation that it is a homestay, not a hotel. All staff were very friendly and courteous. The floor was quite clean but the room was very basic and old, with dirty walls. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. A light breakfast is included but other amenities listed on Expedia were not: for example, there is no daily housekeeping and no toiletries, not even soap! We did get towels and toilet paper upon request! Also note there is NO HOT...

"Great staff. Very accommodating. Laundry service, scooter rental, massage, day trips... whatever you want, they’ll happily arrange it for you. Directly across from the Monkey Forest. Sometimes the Monkeys even come over and climb in the trees around the property."

"Our room was quaint with a comfortable bed. Totally different from home which is why we travel in the first place. The food and staff was great! Their friendly and knowledgeable drivers made discovering the area very pleasant. A unique experience. !!"

"The Eden House was an incredible oasis minutes from.the busy shopping area, with a literal.walk into a peaceful, personalized haven. The Buddist feel and decor, both sophicated and warm, was paired with homemade breakfasts and a hands-on owner. I wouldbot have stayed anywhere else!"

"pool was amazing. landscaping was very good and lush it is extremely quiet and felt like a getaway from the busy streets. Breakfast was good and very convenient being so close we would so stay there again when we come back "

"Everything was fantastic. The resort was beautiful and very well maintained. Also very quiet which was perfect for us. There were always workers watering the plants and sweeping the grounds to make everything look beautiful. Pool area by the beach was amazing and had the best sunset views. "We loved our stay at Ubad Retreat. The staff were amazing and very helpful. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner options smoothies. The free shuttle was handy to get into Ubud city and drivers were always very prompt. The pool is lovely and the gardens are so peaceful. We stayed with our 5 month old baby and felt very safe/happy. "

"You could have been in the middle of the country in the hotel, you couldn't hear a thing but was only about about 40m from the main road. The hotel is family ran who couldn't do enough for you. I definitely will stop in the hotel when in the area. "

"The check in was a bit unprofessional but with a hint of friendliness. The first room was upstairs difficult stairs to negotiate, but after a day the staff moved me downstairs. The breakfast is uninspiring so don't bother with it, its easy walk to markets, shops restaurants and monkey forest. "

"I love this place! I stayed here for nearly 1 month during my yoga teacher training. I loved the breakfast delivered right to your room, every morning. The staff were friendly & accommodating. The pool is lovely. I came back 2 years later again!"
