"This is a very special place nestled in the jungle of a small village. The hot tub is fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped and the communication with Mary and José was fast and great. If you are looking for a peaceful place to rest, look no further. However, when I originally booked it, the listing said the location was in Centro, Bacalar. In actual fact, it’s 30 minutes out of town in a village called Buenavista. I noticed they have since changed the location on their listing. Luckily we had a car or it could really have messed things up."

"The place was clean, outdoor garden and massage pool beautiful. There is an outdoor kitchen and dining table between the two bedrooms. Great for playing games or having a glass of wine. Very peaceful and charming. Beds are very comfortable. Staying in a unique jungle place was an experience and I can now check off my bucket list. I am still thinking about going back and staying a month in this peaceful serene apartment. The outdoor kitchen and dining area is great for playing games. Short distance from Belize"

"Caesar is a great host. Warm & friendly. The property sits right on the lake. It’s a beautiful property, accommodations are basic. The road is very Rocky but only for a block or two. "

"This place was very charming and fully equipped. The host is on their A-game making sure that they have thought of everything. It was very clean and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were quite soft. I really appreciated that there were instructions for all of the appliances. We loved lounging on the deck in the hammock or the loungers."
