"The staff in reception and the restaurant are all excellent. Parking was good because we arrived at the 2pm check in time. The 2 walking routes into the centre of Bath are easy and take only 10-15 minutes. We had breakfast on 2 days and were delighted with the quality of the cooked meals."

"Great location between Bath and Bristol. Room was quite small and a little tired but perfectly acceptable. Breakfast choice was excellent, we used the restaurant one evening, the food was really good. Parking is available but it’s not a big area and is used by guests and restaurant patrons so it does get busy."

The room has 2 chairs which was larger than expected (but still quite cozy). The guest house was close to everything in Bath - especially the train station! "Fantastic location directly opposite the cathedral. As it's the old gatehouse, the stairs to the rooms take a bit of effort as there is no lift but you do get a real feeling of originality. We ate in the hotel and the food was excellent, as was the breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful."
