"The night before check in we were told our property was not actually available. The property manager did find us another place to stay but it was different. No pool but much larger. The new house was old and sort of run down but my family really loved it because it was so large. This whole experience has made me a bit hesitant about using VRBO. If there had been no place even if we got our money back we could not have had a place to stay."

"We checked in on a Friday and upon check in I noticed the room was warm, so I checked our second room and it was warm. The thermostat said this it was calling for a/c but it wasn’t responding. I immediately contacted Heirloom to explain the situation. They assured me a HVAC technician would be out on Saturday to check and fix the problem.
