The Perfect Lake Getaway!

Completely redone in 2020 this lake house is the perfect getaway for your family or a couples weekend. This home is located on beautiful Eagle Lake, a 200 acre, all sports lake in Paw Paw, Mi. Whether its you and the wife on a weekend wine tour, a snowmobile skiing and ice fishing trip, or a family trip during the summer this cottage is exactly what you are looking for. The view is absolutely beautiful from the open living room/deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the scenery of the beautiful wildlife including eagles, geese, swan, cranes, and more.

This home has a master suite with a king bed and private bathroom, a second master suite on the lower level with king bed and a bunk beds and a bathroom with stand up shower. There are two more bedrooms on the main level. Bedroom 1 has a bunk bed with a full bottom and twin top and the second bedroom has a queen bed and another set of bunkbeds.

The home has a gas grill, a fire pit on the beach, and a private dock. Located 10 minutes from local wineries, 20 minutes to the casino, 35 minutes to ski resorts and within minutes of the snowmobile trails. The pontoon can be rented for $300/day or $1250 for the week.

Very beautiful home
This was a very nice home and the property manager was very informative with good communication. It is a little tricky getting in the basement if you're older because of the spiral staircase, but other than that really nice vacation home!

Very Cute Lake House!
Loved the house! Stairs to the basement are a bit narrow, but you do get used to them. Best part was the lake toys; kayaks, paddle board, and peddle boat. Made for a fun time at the house with kids.

Wonderful Lake Vacation
We had a wonderful time at this VRBO. The host was extremely responsive and communicated well with us. We enjoyed the lake and the bonfire with family. Beautiful lake home! Lots of room for everyone to stay. Had a great time and would definitely stay again.

This place checks all the boxes for a lake vacation. The house is spacious and nicely renovated, the lake is a lot of fun. We rented the pontoon boat and it was easy to operate and had no problems. We highly recommend this property.

Family holiday over the 4th
The house was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was very roomy and workable with several people pitching in to prep. My grandson loved the ping pong table in the garage and everyone enjoyed s'mores at the firepit. It was an enjoyable house and we would stay there again.

This house is very up to date on the inside. Great property with the fire pit and lake access. Kayaks and pedal boat were a hit. Unfortunately, the boat was in the shop so we couldn’t rent it but we had a good time anyways.

Summer Getaway
Listing was spot on! We couldn't of asked for a better place. Accommodations were great, plenty of sleeping space. 3 bedrooms on main level. Apartment on lower level. Outside was great, sand area for little one to play. We used the boat and fished off dock. Location was close enough to shopping and beach too! Area is very quiet also. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice house, the lake was very nice. Only thing is when we check in we had to vacuum the floors. The floors look like it was not done. Way to many spiders and spiders web. On the wall, ceiling fan light and etc. Dont use the ice machine on the fridge!! Not sure when it was clean out. There was black mold in the ice.

Great Lake house!
Lake house was recently updated and in great shape! Felt secluded in the woods and private, as there is only one real neighbor that wasn't there during our stay. Lake was good size and we boated and fished. Great times. The lake had a decent amount of seaweed especially right off the dock, but it seems like all inland SW Michigan lakes are this way. Overall great stay, we loved the new ping pong table in the garage as well as the fire pit by the water. Owner was great at answering questions during our stay as well. Highly recommend.

Some things to improve
The Basement room was nice, but extremely cold. No way to close vents. Lots of flys in the basement. After a rain water collected outside the basement door wall and had to be pumped out. Overall it was an enjoyable week. Way over-priced for what you get.

Quite lake front property
Check in and out was very easy. Fire place was nice and the lake was great. Pretty shallow for a ways out but water temperature was great. Have the basics you would need but depending on how many people you have bring some basic cleaning stuff and paper products. House was very clean and plenty of room for 8 full grown adults. Close to several golf courses and Paw Paw (within a 10 min drive). Big yard so we were able to bring several yard games to play. Apples GPS brought us to the other side of the lake, so just beware you made need to use a different app to find it.

Great Little Getaway!
We had several friends in from out of town for our wedding in Lawton. This property was the perfect homebase for a long weekend! There was space for all my bridesmaids to get ready, and the views outside of the lake and area were gorgeous! Kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals and coffee every morning. Having 3 bathrooms was great, and the laundry was conveniently located upstairs. My only wish is that there was some kind of swinging door to close off the spiral staircase. It was precariously open and located in between the kitchen and living room. Even as fully capable adults, we had to be careful about where we stood or leaned. Definitely not doable for anyone with limited mobility, nor very safe for young children. We were here just as fall came in full force, so it was too chilly to get in the lake, but I'm sure it would be fantastic for people of all ages to play out in the yard and around in the lake! As it was, we enjoyed the property, taking neighborhood walks, sitting around on the decks and walking down the dock. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! Thanks for the wonderful weekend!

Perfect Family Getaway
We needed a few days to get out of town over Fall Break. We wanted something quiet on a lake and this place was perfect! Plenty of space and nice and quiet! The owners were very responsive and completely accessible. We had some issues with internet while we were there and the owners literally worked with the provider until it was resolved. I was incredibly impressed. This house was so cute and very well maintained. Had a nice big backyard for the kids. The kids loved the kayaks and took them out every day. It really was a perfect location with what we were wanting! Would absolutely stay again!

Weekend getaway with friends
Updated, clean lakefront cottage with just about everything you’ll need. Enjoyed barbecuing dinner on the deck watching the sunset and having evening bonfires. It was nice to be able to rent the pontoon on property and spend the day on the water. Loved Cody Kresta winery, just a short drive away. Indoor steps to lower level could prove a challenge for some, as they are steep and spiraled, but there are beds upstairs. Hosts were great and responded to questions very quickly.
