"Our annual fall family trip was a beautifully rich time for our family at this VRBO lakehouse. It was set up perfectly for our all 7 of us. We could all be together, but enjoy our own space at the same time. This home has lots of sitting areas both inside and outside. Beds were comfortable as well, which is crucial. Lots of windows provided a gorgeous view of the dock and lake, which was perfect for watching the sun go down. We did not require much communication with Samantha, but she was quick and accommodating when needed. The only downside for us was getting our boat set up. We were not aware that the water was as low as it was. This created a bit of a challenge for us to get the boat in the water as well as securing the boat at the dock. With some ingenuity, we got it all worked out and thoroughly enjoyed our time out on the lake. We found lots of little islands and beaches for our granddaughters to play on. We also discovered a fun little place called Gillian’s to eat. Grocery store is not too far either. We do recommend that you bring plenty of supplies such as paper goods, charcoal, foil etc. This family getaway will definitely be remembered as a wonderful family fall trip. "

"A group (8) of 50+ year old cousins spent the weekend at the lovely Barndomnium. It had plenty of space for all of us to relax, visit, cook and sleep. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved having the large garbage can in the kitchen. We didn't have to take the trash out as often because of this. The pantry was an added bonus. We didn't have to have all of our food and snacks on the counter/island. I reached out to the owners a couple of times for minor questions. They were very responsive. We found some firewood for a small fire in the fire pit. We sat outside and enjoyed the stars and the fire. There was only 1 minor issue about cleanliness. The floors could have been mopped better. "We did a corporate retreat with 5 men. House was perfectly set up for this type of event or multiple families. Very Spacious and accommodating. Fully stocked to cook any type of meal. Boat Dock was well laid out to enjoy fishing and recreation. Highly recommended from top to bottom. "
