"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at 28 North Bridge and I highly recommend the Editors apartments. It was clean, excellent location, fully furnished and very spacious. The team were very quick to respond to any queries over email and I was very pleased with my stay. It's located well within the centre and within walking distance of a variety of food places, attractions and sites to see - It's also located close by to a variety of transport options such as busses, trains and tram stations. "The location was great, walking distance to everything. The property is clean but little bit old, and we had an incident with one of the rooms that we booked plus the terrible communication between us and the staff that made us really unhappy. Also the bed is too small."

"This is student housing. We brought our own pillows from home, which I would recommend. The beds are small, but was fine for us because we were prepared for the size/situation based on other reviews. Bathroom is tiny. Rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless you pay extra. If you have accurate expectations you will enjoy your stay here- the staff was REALLY FRIENDLY and accommodating-- the actual room was as expected, because we were expecting a dorm room! :) "

"Wonderful location right off the Royal Mile. Our apartment was modern, clean, comfortable and quiet, even though we were in a busy area and there was construction going on towards the back of the building. More than enough space for our family to stretch out and relax after long days of touring the city! Linens provided were ample and clean, bath products were available in the bathrooms and the kitchen was well equipped. We would absolutely book again!"

"The staff on the phone COULD NOT have been nicer or more helpful!!! They were not only knowledgeable, but very friendly and guided us every step of the way when I got lost. The apartment was immaculate, very comfortable and in a wonderful location, right in the heart of everything!! Highly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"

"Great location, easy to get there from the airport, lovely restaurants nearby and close to all the tourist stuff. Great apartment, really well equipped and nicely presented. Couple of relatively minor points- the apartment is quite big, the bed is too small and not that comfy. Also in the small dressing room there’s a full length mirror & storage but no place to plug anything in. Other than that a really good and easy would have happily stayed longer."

"Another fantastic stay at the Blackfriars lofts This was our second time spending Christmas here and it was just so perfect! Beautiful apartment with a kitchen and everything needed to make up a lovely Christmas lunch! So clean and literally just off the Royal Mile."

"Cosy 2-bedroom apartment. Clean and well equipped with kitchenette, washer and dryer. Good for family stay. About 8 mins walk to St James Quarter where the parking is. Entry to the apartment building is in a back alley. While it’s well lit, the occasional noise from the garbage bins can be disturbing in the night. Overall, still good."

"Everything about the house was superb. It was spacious yet cosy and you felt at home as soon as you walked in. The house is well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with cosy duvets and crisp linen. The grounds were peaceful, all topped off by deer in the garden wandering up to the house. There is nothing vaguely critical to say."

"Amazing location, wonderful view! The balcony was absolutely incredible. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, you will have a great time here! Make sure you don’t mistake the hotel with “Apex” or “Grassroots” down the street. This hotel has a large sign with the full name “Apex Grassroots”. "
