"Nothing stands out about this property. It is plain but functional. It is an old commercial building that has been converted into a number of individual rooms, all on the second floor. It is a facility that clearly has been converted and is still in the process of updating and conversion. There is a single, large common room (lobby) on which all the bedrooms face. "When I arrived at the location, I second guessed myself because the place looks kinda of abandoned as if it was out of business. When I call the phone number on the property I was told that I was at the right location. Then I was instructed to go to the area where they have at least 10 combinations locks & was given the code to unlock the keys of the room in which I’ll be staying at. "What can I say beyond my gratitude and appreciation for Agnes and her cozy, homey rental. Though this stay wasn’t for a vacation it for my dad’s funeral, Agnes kept me up to date with property and her concern when I didn’t arrive at the specific time. She insured me that it was late and she making sure I was ok. Her place made me feel right at home. Everything I could have possibly needed she supplied and more. She and her husband were very welcoming and any questions or concerns we had she answered immediately. She made us feel like family. I would absolutely rent from her again and would receive her place to my family and friends. Thank you Agnes for your warm and caring hospitality."

A cozy place to stay walking distance from the beach and Restaurants.

Beautiful part of PR

"We loved our time on Calle C. John and Marina were communicative and helpful; super nice. The house was quaint and had everything we needed for the 7 nights we were there. The neighbors were friendly - we agreed that the people in Salinas were the nicest of any people on any vacation we’ve ever taken. (I jogged to cafes every morning and was struck by the ease and kindness that people welcomed me with, and was not in an effort to make money; just simply the culture.) We wanted an experience inside of the local culture and away from the tourism of San Juan, and that’s just what we got in Salinas. We could walk to AMAZING restaurants at night and it was super safe. The small beaches were walkable too. Busy on the weekends when locals came and then quiet on weekdays. We did rent a car to visit more of the coastal towns to both the east and the west, to see Old San Juan for a day and El Yunque forest for hiking, which was helpful (and very inexpensive). If you want an authentic PR experience, come here! We’d definitely go back. PS - My partner speaks fluent Spanish which was helpful but there are enough people who speak English in Salinas that you wouldn’t have trouble getting your needs met. "

"Firstly, the pictures dont do enoughjustice to the actual beauty of this big estate. It is absolutely magnificent, surrounded by the hills and lush green. Ricardo and family's warmth made us feel as if we had come to vacation to our own family. Even after staying in a five star hotel after this stay, the kids felt Serena’s experience was better. Amazing rooms, amazing views and the best part is the pool. The kitchen is always open to you and Ricardo somehow just appears and is always there to dish out a cocktail or a snack or a dish. They even ordered meal from outside and brought it in for us bc we could not communicate with local restaurants in spanish. The instructions they send are very accurate. You do need a 4x4 else you will get stuck getting in or out because of a very steep climb into the property but incase you do, don’t worry as Ricardo will be there day or night to help you out. If you want yo truly relax, go here without any hesitation . We are definitely coming back. Thank you to Ricardo and family for giving us an awesome experience "
