"We had a great time at Villa Carla, our host Ciro greeted us at different location on the main road so we would find the property, which is tucked just up the hill outside of Balestrate. A perfect location for us, just a 10 minute walk to town through a very quiet neighbourhood so we were able to relax in private and in peace. Ciro took the time to tell us all about the property and how everything worked, then sent us an excellent list of recommendations for the area which was so helpful. The place itself is as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the lovely pool, with some beers and perfect local food from the nearby supermarket - in between enjoying restaurants in town and driving out to nearby spots. We would love to come back and if you're looking for a chilled place to explore from, at a very reasonable price, then would recommend a stay. Thanks so much Ciro and Balestrate! "We stayed at Villa Valentino for 6 nights. We completely enjoyed ourselves. The property is everything that the photos and description promise. The property was immaculate and the kitchen, pool, sleeping rooms, bathrooms and overall relaxing space was very well done. It is a very outdoor-oriented villa, meaning that lounging around the pool and on the lawn is a key to fully appreciating the property. We had a car (essential for this location). We spent time exploring both the general Palermo area and surrounding areas such as Mondello beach, Monreale, Trappetto, Segesta and Trapani. The location is an easy 25 drive into the Palermo area. The motorways and roads in the area made the driving easy. The villa is 5 minutes outside of the town of Terrasini. That town is a genuine Sicilian seaside town. Don’t miss the local museum. We dined several nights in Terrasini and the nearby Cinisi. All excellent experiences. The very best part of our experience was our host, Rosario. He clearly takes great pride in his villa and in treating his guest with sincere warmth and care. He was generous in the extra touches and left plenty of information on local sights and day trips. We can highly recommend Villa Valentino!"
