What was a big disappointment was the attitude of the staff--starting with an incompetent and surly check-in by the hotel's bartender -- we had paid for a third person and bed but he tried to charge us again for that extra. Our only complaint was their cleaning product had a scent that was too powerful. We had to air out the room, but that was easy as the windows are enourmous! "

"Beautiful views across the Douro looking towards Porto in a buzzing area. Well equipped and comfortable apartment in a convenient location. We had a relaxing break and enjoyed watching the boats and world go by. Hosts were very interactive throughout our stay and allowed us to leave luggage in special lockers at the end of our stay! "

"The continental breakfast was simple but always fresh. Cleaning staff asked every day if anything needed doing. Reception staff always ready to offer advice on where to dine, walk or visit depending on the amount of time we had that day. While I am aware that the hotel is not a 4 star hotel, the staff made it feel it could be. "
