Such a lovely cottage, close to the beach and mini golf!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karen’s cottage. The cottage is decorated well and the kitchen is fully outfitted. It’s an easy walk to the beach and mini golf and ice cream! The beds were comfy and we all slept well. We’d definitely come back and stay here again!

Great Vacation at Hummingbird Cottage
It’s the perfect place for a family. Amenities including pool & amusement park within walking distance; shopping & restaurants, a 5-10 min drive. And of course the beach & a kids water park nearby as well. The cottage itself is immaculate & well maintained. Overall, the perfect family getaway!

Fantastic Family Getaway
This is our second family vacation at Hummingbird, and we LOVED it. Karen is easy to communicate with and her cottage is just as described. It works perfectly for our multi-generational family getaway, and the location could not be better. Already looking forward to booking next year!

We loved our recent stay at Karen's cottage! My husband and I, along with our two "kids" ( 21 and 23) and our little dog had a wonderful time. We had the master bedroom, our daughter took the second room and our son had the pull out sofa, it was easy peasy. The cottage had everything we needed, it was clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and the perfect location. Karen was lovely to deal with, always prompt with a response to questions. Honestly, it was the perfect getaway for our family before the kids head back to University.So happy we chose it!!!

This was our first time renting thru VRBO so i didn't know what to expect. I was more than happy with this tastefully decorated property and want to return on our next visit to the Island. Karen & Merv have thought of everything a person could need during their stay at the Hummingbird cottage. Great hosts!

Great place for family getaway
This cottage was exactly as described and was the perfect place to connect with the family. Very comfortable, exceptionally clean and the jetted soaker tub was heaven. The kitchen had all the appliances and dishes we needed. We enjoyed the resort pool and fitness equipment and there were many trails to walk the dog.

Perfect surroundings. Walking distance to mini golf, restaurants and beaches. Short drive to town and local attractions. The rental was well maintained, clean and a perfect place to spend the week with the family. We will be coming back..

Great getaway in Parksville
Excellent cottage - close to amenities and centrally located allowing us to travel easily north and south on the island. Cottage owners had a very organized and handy binder that answers all your questions about your stay. Comfortable space - indoor and out and close to beautiful Rathtrevor beach (less than 5 min drive).
