"An amazing stay, especially given the price. My 2 nights at the Lao Poet Hotel were the best past of Vientiane. Comfortable room and a nice rooftop to enjoy the sunset. The service level began even before I arrived, the staff assisted in setting up airport pick up as well as procuring a train ticket for the next stop on my journey. I had to leave early and missed the including breakfast on my last morning but they sent me off with an exceptional breakfast box! I was thoroughly surprised at the quality when I opened it when waiting for my train. And so much fruit I shared it with monks at the station. Thank you to Zack and the whole front desk team. "

"Walkable areas, night streets foods, Do not like to see how rundown the property is compared to 5 years ago. (Walls crack, unpainted, wood work is coming apart, Baseboards, crown moulding, Furniture in hotels room is un except able, camping furniture.)"

We had room 707, top floor, at the end. It's a superior with terrace-small balcony in a caged area, which was lovely. Room beautiful, bathroom spotless. Breakfast was a vast array of all sorts for all kinds of tastes."
