"We have stayed in numerous locations throughout Europe, but this has been our favorite stay so far. "They have online a wood stair, no elevator, and the noise was terrible. It was no possible sleep and relax. we complained to the owners but to no avail. the problem of noisy stairs is general and should be reported at the time of booking. if I had known before I would not have booked this B&B, even considering the price !!!"

"We travelled late 25 - 29 October 2024. Rooms. Very spacious, cleaned daily and equipped for self catering if preferred. Breakfast was nice with a nice variety. Staff welcoming. Pool opened later than usual due to out of season.. Still warm. We had a family fun. Overall lovely stay. We would return. "

"The staff made a big difference. Our room was very nice and clean. Temperature was very hot and humid in Italy. Our air conditioner worked great. There is a grocery store few doors down. Cecilia and all the staff were very helpful and polite. "

"There is only street parking and you may have to pay if you don’t luck out and find free parking. You walk with your luggage to the apartment, we struggled to find the front door. No elevator so you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs. The room is small, but very comfortable and clean. "

Fabulous stay

"This was a good experience! We were welcomed by the owners son, who made us feel very welcome and made us 2 fresh cappuccinos on arrival. The view of the landscape from this location was breathtaking. The room was very pretty with exposed brickwork and arches. The amenities in the room were very much appreciated and useful - washing machine, a rack to dry clothing, hairdryer, TV, tea a coffee etc. The olive shower gel and hand wash smelt amazing! A nearby town was ideal with a lovely restaurant and cafe which was recommended by the owners son! Thank you. However, I did not like the bugs in the room. Apparently these are common due to the rural location. This was explained to us on arrival. Other than this - amazing stay! "

Beautiful Tuscan Villa surrounded by greenery between sea and hills

Rustic retreat to rural Tuscany

"The view was truly lovely at this rustic retreat. We spend over a week swimming relaxing and day tripping to hill cities, Luca, Pisa and more. The outdoor spaces were very good for dinning reading and lounging. The drive to the house was a gravel road which means it would be best done in an SUV and not in our rented Audi and mapping to the house always wants to send you down an even longer worse gravel road, so only go through Pomaia. We learned the hard way coming from Florence you have to drive south further then expected to use the right route to avoid crazy roads. We enjoyed the beaches 35 minutes away and Volterra was definitely a must from here. There was no air in the apartment but fans did help cool down the apartment especially in the evening. Internet worked very well but there was only local channels on the TV. Overall we really enjoyed our time as a break from the rushing of Rome and Florence and time to simply take in the view of Tuscany."
