The room is spacious and functional but very ethical friendly (minimum supply) so you need to bring your toothbrush, Kleenex, slippers and so on. And you need to read QR code for the room equipments. Kitchen wares are practical but I wish I had slightly larger wine glasses. Water pressure at bathroom was relatively low.

Location is terrific! Disappointed in the hotel overall - some of front desk staff have attitude problems, older kitchen, bathroom and room; toilet separate from bathroom and directly next to kitchen; no heater in toilet and kitchen;;bathtub is high and dangerous to step in and out of and lacked a shower curtain or a full closing glass door; low water pressure for showering; lack of towels/wash cloth; must return used towel for a fresh one and no daily housekeeping service! You will be charged an additional €25-35 if you request additional @essentials” and housekeeping service. Kitchen is outdated with minimum utensils; no welcoming atmosphere in rooms; little heat; no AC for summer months just a small table top fan provided ; thin walls and can hear neighbors; bed is very hard with poking coils and uncomfortable and has a plastic mattress cover making it extremely difficult to sleep; bed is super hard in your b;lack of any English channels on TV; no smart TV so therefore you cannot access Netflix; Prime, Hulu or Youtube WiFi works ok when it doesn’t drop. Only bare bone minimums in everything! A non-refundable payment was due at the time of booking - I would have left to find another place if I could get my money back. The photos on the websites are very deceiving. This place really could use an overhaul. The only good thing about this place is the location and it is close to the Gare DeLyon, Metro stops and buses; lots of restaurants are all within walking distance.

The advertisement for this hotel is absolutely misleading. The pictures are NOTHING like the reality. The rooms and corridors are filthy. On the first night we had no power for 3hrs and nobody in reception knew how to resolve.

Excellent Stay!
This apartment style stay is one of my best overseas stay. I love the soft and comfortable bed and pillows. They smell really clean, like freshly washed linen. The room looks new, though not modern. The room also smells fresh. Even the toilet is clean. The bathroom does not have stains, and the bathtub is well scrubbed. I am very fussy about cleanliness, this property ticks all the boxes for cleanliness. I love that I can open the window and let in fresh air and light. There's a small balcony with small table and chair, and I can look at the trees outside. The nearest apartment is quite a distance away, so there is privacy. The cooking facilities are there (no chopping board though?). I can make simple cooking for myself and enjoy hot drink before heading out. It is very near the Metro, and there are some shops and eateries there. The people I met are friendly at the shops.

Cons: The interior is dirtier than the photos post online. Saw a big and obvious stain on the bed sheet when we open the room door and asked them to change the sheet right away. Weird odor comes out from the fridge. Air flow is not very good. A lot of mosquitoes flies in when we open the window. Non smoking building but the guests who live beneath us smoke in the balcony at night and made our room smells even worse. Although this may not be the hotel’s fault. Pros: The front desk employees are friendly and answer all the questions. The location is very good and convenient. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and metro line in the area.

Reception staff were kind and helpful. Location is excellent. Near metro station. If you walk to the one closer to the MacDonald you can buy train tickets there. The one closer to rue chalingny street doesn’t have tickets it’s just an entrance and exit. I bought a day pass for 8.50 euros….and it finished at midnight. U can jump on any metro as many times as you want. Gare Du Lyon train station also near. If you have lasted suitcase you need an Uber can’t walk it - Uber cost me 10 euros to the station. There are many supermarkets mini Marta close by. Apartment is well equipped kitchen. Lacked cooking utensils though like spatula and spoons..other than that it was fine. Note there is no AC - so it was pretty hot. Had a fan though. There is no cleaning service - u have to go to reception and ask for extra things like towels and toilet paper. It’s in a great location walking distance to Bastille and Gare Du Lyon…lots of restaurants etc. unit was a little dated.
