"We stayed in this lovely property for 4 weeks in June. The owners of the gite were incredibly helpful and always available if needed. The gite is spacious and charming and very well equipped. La Charité is a gem and being in the main street meant that everything was at our fingertips, from the boulangerie to bars to hairdressers. And a great auberge just around the corner. Unlike most old towns there is plenty of parking. I would recommend this delightful gite without hesitation."

"Found the perfect stopover for our drive down to the South of France. The apartment was really well appointed and was really impressed with the setting and facilities. "A really nice, boutique hotel, but reception staff on arrival were not friendly, unsmiling and were unhelpful. As wine professionals, we wanted to taste some tank samples of unfinished wine in the bar. The staff wanted to charge us €15 corkage per bottle, even though we were not going to drink these wines. We would have bought a bottle to drink after the professional tasting. Having stayed here for so many years, I was really disappointed with the reception."
