"The internet was broken, no elevetor - no airconditioning and the bugs - flies and wasps flew into the room. Had to have the windows open because it was so hot. Nice older couple ( I'm 74 myself) but in way over their heads. Really too bad. I booked another hotel through expedia and move - a good hotel the Mercure."

Breakfast spread is basic with the usual bread, cereals, ham, cheese, fruits etc. The hotel is located near to Kudamm strasse the shopping belt. There are many restaurants nearby, with an Italian eatery just next door. Was quite impressed with the staff as they took the trouble to pack a simple food pack for us in the evening before our checkout as we had a very early flight to...

All kinds of fancy restaurants are within walking distance. Great German breakfast included. Nice, inviting backyard. Hotel personnel are helpful & friendly. Parking is for free. Although it’s technically classed as a private bathroom you have to unlock a side door, walk through an open hallway - with a water boiler and fire exit on the left - and then unlock the bathroom door. It’s ok for me but for some people, this wouldn’t feel private. "
