"Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations. "Overall this villa was brilliant even if there were quite a few stairs due to quirky layout. Had a food delivery first day which is good idea although rest of time we shopped at a Lidl which was much cheaper and only 3km away. Local beach was excellent as was the cafe/restaurant there at Praia da Molhe and only a short walk. What the pictures didn't show is the tranquility and the smells of the floral trees and overall peace and quiet. I would come back again and again.
