"This property is ideally placed to visit Grassington and walks around the area. It is clean, well appointed and first class en suite bathroom facilities. The down side is that there are a lot of rooms and a number of the occupants came into this venue later into the night. The doors are vintage as are the locks etc, so we found it a bit noisy and had a disturbed sleep. "

"This is a relaxed small hotel - a bit like a guest house / hotel with good dining and bar for locals. Sawley is very convenient for Fountains Abbey but isolated - a car is essential. The Spanish chef was very good, as was the room andvthe staff attentive "

"It is comfortable, older hotel. Quirky even. Everyone very helpful, nothing a bother. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and superb. Plenty of choices. Service excellent. Dinner was fabulous, in presentation and taste, again cooked to order. A busy evening function, but residents came first. Will definitely stay again."

"We had a lovely time in this cottage over Christmas! The cottage is cosy but with everything you need. Contact with the host was fantastic. And the cottage was all decorated for Christmas so that was a lil cherry on top!"

"The Craven Arms is the most welcoming, amazing pub we've been lucky to visit in the UK. The stories about the owners and the pub are amazing. The regulars were super welcoming and happy to share a few pints and swap stories. The food is excellent and services is great! And then there are the shepherd huts, so cozy, I only wished I stayed longer. I'll certainly be back!"

"We had a lovely week in Hebden, the cottage was ideally located for numerous walks in the area plus being on the outskirts of Grassington was very quiet. Ideal for walkers and dogs. We stayed with family and there was plenty of room."

The Shippen provides the perfect countryside getaway for friends and family.

Beautiful location!

"We had a lovely stay at the Shippon. It's set in a beautiful location in the Yorkshire Dales, and was clean and comfortable. Becky and Joey were great hosts, friendly and helpful and very happy to show us their animals on the farm! I highly recommend a stay at the Shippon. It's location is great, just up the road from Bolton Abbey and near to Skipton and Ilkley, both towns are worth a visit."

"Really enjoyed our stay. Only negative was that the dinner menu was the same each night. The staff were very friendly and polite. A very dog friendly hotel too - you had the option to have meals in a nice room with your dog - this isn’t the case in some dog friendly hotels. Would stay again."
