"This is hotel is in a rebuilt castle high above the town of Tortosa, with incredible vistas, but its a short walk to the town center. Rooms have a balcony and a comfortable bed. The staff is friendly and professional. I liked its bar and restaurant, which offers many regional food and drink specialties. I highly recommend the whole package. "

"We loved our stay in this beautiful home. We came to rest after a busy couple of weeks travelling and this was the perfect place to recharge. We were in the pool everyday - it is not heated but it was warm to us Canadians. The kitchen is well stocked with the supplies you need and even came with a welcome gift bottle of delicious wine. The beach was so close we could hear the waves from the house. Walking through the back garden was beautiful as you could smell the orange blossoms on the trees. We used the bikes to get into town to buy some groceries from the well stocked Spar. We spent most of our meals eating outside in the beautiful outdoor space and even used the charcoal barbecue a few times as well. Our children are 12 & 9 and there was a bike for our 12 year old, but none that would fit our 9 year old. It would be perfection if there was a smaller bike for use. If you want to get out and explore the area, I would suggest having a car, but you can take the bus to Vinaros, which requires cash to pay or prebook online. When our stay was over, Maria made sure we got to our bus back to the airport on time, even at an early time in the morning! Right from the start, Maria was very easy to communicate with, quick to respond to messages, and had great suggestions for the area and how to get around. "Excellent position/location but house is a little tired and wasn't very clean when we arrived. Pool is pleasantly bigger than usual domestic size but needs a bit of TLC. Only the master bedroom is air conditioned; the others share a unit in the hallway which works OK- just. Overall a super holiday home. "

"Our stay there was great. The house is spacious, there are 2 separate flats. It is fully equiped with everything you need. Every room has an air-conditioning unit. The pool is big, clean, there is an outdoor shower and toilet. In the garden there is a barbecue with a seating area. The beaches are close, sea water is incredibly clear. Not far from the house there is Mercadona, some restaurants. If you want to do some sightseeing, I´d recommend Tarragona and its Roman monuments, Reus with a Gaudí museum and Casa Natas (a fantastic art-nouveau villa). All the towns near are worth of seeing. This place was one of the best of our holidays over last 20 years. The communication with the owner and the agency was easy, fast and smooth. i wouls recommend the place to everybody."
