"I returned to the Santa Maria Boutique by the Sea a few days prior to my flight from Trivandrum international airport. It's such a pleasant stay, right on the beach with the sound of the surf always in the background, and soft breezes blowing off the Indian Ocean. The food is wonderful, and the owners and staff make you feel right at home. The ride to Trivandrum airport was literally only a few minutes, a very pleasant and unhurried experience. I definitely look forward to returning when I visit...

"This is a beautiful and peaceful Ayurvedic five star retreat overlooking Trivandrum. It is teired at different levels into the hills, which as a result offers beautiful vistas virtually every room. The Ayurvedic treatment options can be tailored from anywhere from one day to two weeks, and are excellent! The food is wonderful, and the staff is absolutely first class. "

"Our room at the Turtle was spacious, good and clean with a huge terrace with sea views. The pool area could have been cleaner and there was a shortage of sun beds and brollies. It was very easy to get to the beach by either hotel car or a tuk tuk was only INR 100. We spent most of our time on Lighthouse beach as at the left end, looking out to sea, there was an amazing snorkelling spot. Brilliant."

"Great facilities, but UNACCEPTABLE that they had no coffee beans for breakfast for a 1 day stay!!!! What hotel runs out of coffee???!!! "

"We stayed here for a nearby wedding and were in general quite happy with the accommodation. The bathrooms in the villas do need some renewal, the rooms are nice. Very quiet surroundings and nice to be so close to the ocean and loved the nice plants. Food was very good."

"I believe I overpaid for a mediocre property (more than 7k/day). Reception and dining were very poor. Not enough space in the property to wander around. Food was an utter disappointment, but it had some sky rocketed price like a 4 star resort. Based on what I ordered, I recommend you to change your Chef. Apartment was compact and clean. Staff behavior was cool & pleasant. Didn't use Ayurvedic facility, so comment on that. Reception neither had the courtesy to welcome customers nor had the space...
