"An attractive small ‘slightly quirky” traditional hotel,- so much better than the modern sanitised hotel chains.Location excellent, overlooking the sea, yet close for the ferry and for the “old” town. It was the staff however who were the stars! Lucie at Reception was delightful and most professional, whilst in the Dining Room Eliza was simply sensational. Her bubbly personality and excellent service made our final night in France one to remember. "

"Would stay again. Quiet and comfortable room with good bed. Staff friendly and helpful with English spoken. Easy to find and access and easy to park on street for free. 30 minutes walk to the old town along the sea front which is very tidy and well kept. Nice continental breakfast with good selection."

"La Rotonde is a decent enough hotel for people on a tight budget. It was closed when I arrived mid-afternoon, so I found myself in a beach-side bar for 90 minutes until a hotel employee let me in. There had been a telephone number for reception but no-one answered my call. The staircase to my room was dark and poky and didn't bode well, but the room itself was spacious and cool, the beds were large and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. "What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be provided with bedding, towels and soap. The only downside for us - as we are both over 60 was the steep staircase (which was clearly pictured) - but we did get used...

"Notre séjour a été très agréable avec un très bon accueille. Le logement était très bien. La piscine à 28° c'était top. Il y a aussi un jacuzzi ça c'était la cerise sur le gâteau. Des vacances au calme et un emplacement bien située pour les plages et les visites, que demander de plus."
