Paradise on the Mighty Fraser River surrounded by woodland gardens.
Sit on the deck and watch the river flow as you sip locally made coffee or taste the local breweries craft beer. Catch a glimpse of the wildlife, bear, dear, eagles and otters across the river. Bring your binoculars. Sit on the deck and enjoy the propane fire pit and watch the river flow by. enjoy the peacefulness of the woods and wake up to the birds singing around you. Sleep comfortably in the heated cabin with handmade wool filled pillows and duvet. The space suits 2 adults. This is Glamping at its finest!
Trains Trains in the Fraser Canyon are part of what makes the region so unique and leads to so much of the history of the area. They still play an integral role in transporting goods through our province and across the nation. Train whistles are employed at crossings and can be heard throughout the day and evening. Should you not grow accustomed to the whistles ear plugs are available.
This property is not child friendly because of the Fraser River being so close and the wild life around. For that reason I do not recommend children under the age of 12 yrs.

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
I could sit by the river forever. The property is rustic (bathroom and sink outside), but it works. I didn't mind the frequent trains passing near, I love that sound. The only bad thing, and it's not the host's fault, is the neighbors were loud with yelling and music night and morning.
Beautiful property, cute cabin, lovely host and adorable animals. The composting toilet was interesting and although it is listed as a bed & breakfast there would have been an extra charge for breakfast
Shaded away under trees right by the Fraser River this little cabin is such a cool and beautiful place to relax especially if you've been out exploring in the summer heat. Michele is a lovely host and we had a lot of fun chatting with her. All the cute animals she has is an extra bonus.
Lovely, cozy, rustic cabin… Glamping at its absolute best. So much attention to detail. Love the different separate spaces. Amazing river views, finally had a good sleep in weeks, due to that comfortable bed and the great wool pillows. Thanks so much for everything Michelle.
This magical riverside cabin was just perfect for a quiet, relaxing couple of days. The cabin itself was very comfortably appointed, with just the right rustic feel. What we loved: sitting on the deck in the evening (maybe with a good book), listening to the insistent frog song, the occasional splash from the river, and yes, even the trains (we got used to them very quickly!). Michele was very quick to respond in communicating, and cheerful to visit with on site.
You can tell Michele put a lot of thought and effort into this place. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.
The cabin is cozy and has everything you need. While it’s located on the main property, it feels completely secluded. The views are phenomenal!
Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your little piece of paradise with us. We’ll definitely be back.
The property is private, beautiful forest and river. The host is great - cordial, true to herself. She clearly wanted us to experience the space and surroundings to their fullest. Her pets are happy - interactive, a lovely addition. The cabin is cozy and interesting - bathroom is accessed from the outside. Super bed.
Michele greeted us at the gate along with Apollo, the cats, a few chickens and a duck!!
Michele is a great host who stayed completely out of our way but was also very attentive and accommodating.
This is best described as glamming with everything you need and nothing you don’t.
The trains are a little loud at first but 100 % are part of the Fraser River and Canyon experience. Amazing views and so tranquil.
We will definitely stay here again.
Michele has created a most amazing space amidst all the natural beauty around. From the moment you arrive and are greeted by Michele and her lovely fur and feathered beauties, it feels a bit like glory!
Michele is an amazing host. Her woolen duvet and pillows made for a cozy comfortable sleep. The homemade bread and delicious jam definitely worth it. The morning sun is perfect for coffee on the outdoor daybed. The covered patio was cozy in the rain. I loved the sound of the approaching trains how it echoes across the river. A very soothing sound. Amazing place for a retreat. Thank you to an amazing and talented hostess. Looking forward to the next visit.
I was looking to book a place to take my girlfriend for the weekend. I was tossing up the Four Seasons and this place... decided to go with Michelle's cabin and it was simply the most wonderful time.
The place is so beautiful - I don't think the pictures do it justice. The cabin is very private and beautifully decorated. A lot of thought and love has gone into it and it shows. Nearly everything has been made from recycled/reclaimed materials.
Sitting on the deck with the propane fire and having coffee while the river loped by was wonderful. We had dinners and fires each evening and it was perfect.
Michelle is just lovely... she has a little spot of paradise and meeting her and her family of animals was simply heart warming.
I was a little anxious when I booked it... it's not your standard VRBO property... but wow, you will not be disappointed. Just incredible!
Michele greeted us with her dog Apollo and a big smile! She had a fresh baked loaf of bread in hand, which she’d made vegan just for us (I would HIGHLY recommend! So so yummy!) The kitties, chicken, and duck all checked us out as we made our way down to the cabin. The path along the way was beautiful and well maintained, and Michele made sure we knew how everything in the cabin worked. Not only was everything easy to use, it was all so cozy and clean and so perfectly fit the scene! We made delicious dinners on the campfire and the bbq and had our coffee on the balcony by the small fire with the delicious complimentary caramel coffee syrup. Everything is thought through, there is high quality olive oil for cooking and snacks in case you didn’t bring enough, plus many lovely blankets, pillows, and towels. We stayed the weekend but could have stayed a month! Even in the rain you can still access the whole cabins balcony comfortably, plus there are cards and a chess board and wifi if you didn’t come prepared. We had no trouble with cell service at all! No matter the weather you will be enthralled by your stay! This place is truly magical! We also got Michele’s plum spice jam and chipotle cranberry bbq sauce, SO GOOD!! A must get! Michele also left a birthday card in the cabin because she knew this trip was a surprise bday gift for my partner, it was beautiful and so so kind of her. We will 10000% be coming back to do more glamping and hiking!
I was here for a weekend getaway to unwind and relax. Perfect setting for it! A mini beach along the river was nice to sit and read at. All the pets were incredibly friendly--the black cat even joined me while I was reading. I also purchased a loaf of bread and jams from the farm and they were fantastic! No complaints, would love to stay again
Michelle's cabin was a perfect spot for us to unwind after a busy week of travelling. Such a cozy cabin with views that cannot be described...so beautiful! Michelle was a wonderful host, greeting us and making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to B.C. Thanks Michelle!!
It was a fantastic experience. Cabin location was beautiful, with a great view of the Fraser River. The seating area by the river made for an awesome night relaxing with the wife, and the lighting was very cozy. Would highly recommend for any couple if you want a romantic, private get away for the weekend.
We love our stay at Michelle’s cottage and we love how simple and cute it is. Best place to relax and enjoy the nature. It’s nice to see and listen to birds, as well as trains… Overall, it’s a great place to escape the city and be one with nature…. Thank you Michelle and we love your bread and jam, delicious!
The best place we have stayed! What a beautiful, quaint getaway - couldn't recommend more!
We wanted to get away from Vancouver city life and stay in a little place tucked into nature (but not toooo tucked!) and this place was absolutely perfect. The spaces were amazingly well thought out, the animals were so friendly, and the location can't be beat. You can see the river from bed! The cabin is cozy and heated, although we didn't really need the heat since the bedding is all woolen (and handmade by your host Michele). We loved sitting by the fire at night and enjoying the space which is surrounded by lovely string lights. We wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be returning soon! This is the perfect glamping experience and we hope to keep coming back for regular little retreats. Perfect for couples' getaways. Be sure to get some eggs from Michele and also try her delicious homemade bread and jam!
This was a new experience for us - 'glamping' describes it perfectly as the spotless cabin combines the luxuries of a comfy warm bed, hot water, a perfect view with an outside composter loo, BBQ cooking and thankfully spotty wifi!!
We had a great 3 day 'back to nature' stay and can't say enough about our host, Michele, who went out of her way to provide us with everything needed (including yummy homemade bread and her own chicken/duck eggs) as well as respecting our privacy at all times.
We'll be 'glamping' again for sure!
