"We stayed in a covered wagon. It was a very cool place to stay. There are interesting mannequins placed near the wagon. We thought they were funny but I could easily see how they may creep some people out. My only complaint (which is not the properties fault at all) was that bc it was SOO extremely windy out, the wagon was crazy loud and shaky. So my children were very scared and I couldn’t blame them. All furnishings and decor picked with excellent taste and a desire to showcase artists and small business owners. Beds very comfortable. Furnished breakfast supplies delicious. "It was just my husband and I ... we really enjoyed our stay, The views, the peacefulness and a gorgeous sunrise are all very good reasons to visit again. Grounds are extremely well maintained and manicured. Love their policies on land management. Clean and comfortable ... our only negative was trying to get the grill going to cook our steaks. We ended up having to cook them under the broiler. A very minor negative when compared to all the positives. "

"My daughter, myself and 4 grandchildren came to Amarillo to see the musical Texas in Palo Duro Canyon. There was lots of room for all of us. I loved that the kids were at the opposite end of the house. The grandkids loved the snacks that were laid out on the kitchen table and after a long trip in the car, it was nice that we didn't have to go to the store for snacks.
