"I liked the rustic aesthetics of the resort and that it is relatively close to Alona Beach and the airport. The ocean view rooms are very nice, you can walk straight onto the beach and into the water off the porch. As far as the negatives, not really a big deal, but the main pool is a bit small for the size of the resort. "We just completed a 5 night stay at the Cliffside resort. The owner (Julia) is extremely friendly and takes pride in her staff and resort. The staff is friendly and very accommodating, any requests we had were immediately met with no questions asked!! The rooms are clean, and the food was great!! If you are looking for a place to stay where the staff treats you like friends instead of guests, then I'd recommend staying at the Cliffside Resort when you are in Bohol.
